Summer Camp Adventures: Where Kids Create & Play
Let the mess and magic begin! Our summer camp is 15 days of pure, unadulterated creative fun—think tote bag painting, doodling, and turning every single day into a masterpiece.
Day one of our summer art camp kicks off with a fun and practical project. The kids begin their creative journey by painting their very own personalized tote bags.
On day two, we dove into the world of doodling and whimsical creatures. Our students had a blast drawing imaginative octopuses and filling their notebooks with intricate patterns.
Creativity took flight on day three with our feather painting workshop. The children learned blending techniques to create colorful and delicate feather designs.
From triangles to triumphs. Day four was all about geometric art, where students used colorful triangles to create stunning abstract masterpieces in their sketchbooks.
On day five, we turned colorful threads into masterpieces. This string art activity helps develop fine motor skills as kids create beautiful patterns on paper.
We brought nature into the classroom on day six. The children used real leaves as stamps to create beautiful, textured artworks, learning about printmaking in a fun, hands-on way.
We turned stress into art on day seven with a junior mandala session. This calming activity helps improve focus and allows kids to create beautifully intricate floral designs.
Unlocking creativity one letter at a time. Day eight was all about decorative letter art, where students filled the letters of their names with imaginative doodles and floral patterns.
On day nine, we explored the timeless beauty of Warli art. The children learned the simple, symbolic shapes of this traditional Indian art form to create their own narrative pieces.
We used dots to create blossoming cherry trees on day ten. This pointillism-inspired technique teaches patience and results in a stunning, textured piece of nature art.
About Summer Camp Adventures
We don't just dump paints on a table and walk away. Each session is a structured, 2.5-hour deep dive where your child actually learns a technique—like ambidextrous drawing or printmaking—instead of just making a mess. We provide all the materials, from canvas boards to specialized glitter, so you just drop them off and pick up a proud, paint-splattered artist.
Summer at Arkin isn't about rigid rules. It’s about giving your child a 15-day escape where the goal is to build a creative toolkit while having the time of their lives. Whether you visit our studio in Skylark Co-op Housing Society or our Center Square location in Andheri West, the vibe remains the same: supportive, messy, and loud with laughter.
We break down complex art forms into bite-sized projects. Think of day six when we use real leaves for printmaking, or day ten where we conquer ambidextrous drawing to boost brain coordination. It’s not just "doing art," it’s sharpening cognitive development while they think they’re just having fun.
Why parents love our summer camps:
- Everything is included: No running around for supplies. We provide the canvas, the clay, the mirrors, and even the glitter.
- Finished masterpieces: Every single day, your child walks out with something they made themselves.
- Small group focus: With limited spots per batch, your child actually gets personal guidance, not just crowd control.
- Real skills: We introduce them to diverse mediums like oil pastels, watercolors, and folk arts like Madhubani, helping them discover what they’re actually passionate about.
Whether your child is a budding Picasso or just needs a break from screen time, this is their space to experiment. Come join the fun!
Arkin Art & Design
I founded Arkin because I believe art is a journey, not a school subject. I’m here to watch your kids get messy, find their confidence, and create things that make us all go #holyairballs amazing.
