Watching the final performance is great, but the real magic happens in the practice room. Here is a look at how I turn "I can't dance" into main character energy. 💫

Part two of my teaching process for 'Premleela'. Here, I focus on refining the steps, ensuring the actors understand the timing and expressions. It's about building confidence layer by layer.

Now we start adding flow. This is the stage where the actors begin to feel the rhythm and connect with the choreography on a deeper level. You can see their confidence growing as the moves become second nature.

The final run-through before the camera rolls. This is the magic moment where all the practice, adjustments, and energy come together into a cohesive performance. Everyone is in sync and ready for the take.

An uncut, raw look into rehearsals for 'Thipkyanchi Rangoli'. A fan requested this, and I'm happy to share. This is how I adapt steps on the spot to suit the actor's comfort, like when I tell Chetan, "tula jar pop vagere nasel karaycha, tujhya style madhe he yeil".

Rehearsing the classic Marathi song 'Aali Thumkat Naar' for the serial 'Aboli'. This song is a recurring favorite for Star Pravah shows, and I love giving it a fresh interpretation each time while keeping the traditional charm.

Having fun during rehearsals for 'Aboli' on Star Pravah. Choreographing to funny Marathi songs is always a joy, especially with sporting artists like Sharmishtha Raut and Angad Mhaskar who bring so much life to the performance.

A glimpse into the rehearsal for a Ganpati dance sequence for the serial 'Aboli'. This involved blending classical dance elements to create a devotional and energetic performance, showcasing my versatility with different dance forms.

About The Rehearsal Process: From Steps to Story

If you are worried that you have two left feet, that is actually my favorite starting point. I do not do high-pressure, intimidating rehearsals. I break down every single step into simple, natural movements, whether you are shooting for a show like 'Aboli' or prepping for your own sangeet. I watch your body language, listen to your concerns, and adapt the choreography to your comfort level so you never feel out of place on the dance floor.
