About The Process: Rehearsals & Behind-the-Scenes
I don't believe in strict, intimidating studio environments. Whether we are practicing in your living room or a local hall, I make sure the process is low-pressure. After every session, I send you a video tutorial of exactly what we practiced. This way, if you forget the steps between meetings, you can just pull up the video on your phone, watch the move at your own pace, and practice without any stress.
Your Pace, Your Vibe
Wedding preparations can be chaotic, so I make sure dance rehearsals are the one thing you actually look forward to. I treat our sessions like a hangout, not a strict training camp. Whether you are a total beginner who has never danced before or you have a background in semi-pro performance, I adapt the choreography to your level.
Where We Practice
I travel to your location in Bengaluru, whether that’s your home or a studio you’ve booked. If you’re planning a destination wedding, I can travel with you to ensure your group gets their practice hours in, no matter where the venue is. For those busy weeks leading up to the big day, we can even handle quick, last-minute sessions to tighten up your performance.
Technical Support for Your Performance
Beyond just teaching steps, I handle the technical side so you don’t have to.
- Audio Mixing: I create custom medleys and mashups, shortening songs or blending tracks so the flow of your performance is seamless.
- Performance Coaching: I help with stage presence, teaching you how to use facial expressions and props like dupattas or umbrellas to make your act look complete.
- Reference Videos: Every session ends with a recorded video tutorial sent via WhatsApp. You can use these for practice between sessions, which helps you build muscle memory faster.
My goal is to make sure that by the time you step on stage, you feel confident and relaxed. Like I always say, taaliyan bajti rehni chahiye (the applause should keep going), and that only happens when you are having fun on the floor.
