We install strong MS (Mild Steel) grids that protect your wall from dampness, combined with a proper drip irrigation system. This means your green wall stays fresh and lush automatically, without you needing to stand there with a watering can every single morning.
Our Process for a Green Wall
We don't just stick pots on a wall. Whether you have a high-rise balcony or a commercial office entrance in BKC or Chembur, we follow a systematic approach:
- Structural Integrity: We start by fabricating a Mild Steel (MS) grid. This creates a gap between the wall and the plants, which is crucial for air circulation and preventing seepage or dampness issues on your building walls.
- Modular Bio-Walls: We use UV-stabilized plastic bio-wall modules. These are detachable, which makes it very easy to replace a single plant if it wilts, without disturbing the whole structure.
- Smart Irrigation: Our drip irrigation setup uses 16mm/12mm lateral pipes with pressure-compensating emitters. This ensures water reaches every row equally from top to bottom, so the plants at the top don't dry out while the ones at the bottom get drowned.
Plants That Thrive in Mumbai
We select plants that can handle the Mumbai heat and humidity. We typically use a high-density mix of 10-12 plants per square foot to give you that instant 'lush' look.
- Foliage: We love using Rhoeo, Philodendrons, and Ferns. They grow well in vertical settings and create beautiful patterns of green, purple, and yellow.
- Maintenance: Our setup is designed to be low maintenance. Using lightweight cocopeat-based media keeps the wall light, and the plants we choose are resilient and hardy.
