Here is the secret to a great family act: I don't just teach steps, I design a show that fits the vibe of each performer. Whether it’s an uncle with two left feet or a grandmother who wants to join in, I tailor the moves to their comfort level. You’ll be surprised at how quickly even the most hesitant family members turn into confident stage performers.
Turning Your Sangeet into a Show
A family performance is the heart of a Sangeet, but it can be stressful to coordinate. My goal is to remove that stress. I focus on creating a 'Bhasad-free' (hassle-free) zone where the only focus is having a blast.
What we cover:
- Storytelling Acts: We don't just do steps. We create themes, whether it's a 'Bride vs. Groom' jugalbandi, an emotional tribute to the parents, or a funny quiz-style performance about the couple.
- Flexible Rehearsals: I handle both in-person sessions at your home or studio and high-quality virtual sessions. If your cousins are flying in from different continents, I use detailed video tutorials so everyone is perfectly in sync the moment they land.
- Music & Styling: I handle the custom audio mixing to ensure transitions between songs are smooth. Plus, I guide you on how to handle outfits (like that heavy lehenga or sherwani) so you can actually move and dance freely on the big night.
