About As Seen In The Press
When I see my work featured in magazines like Brides Today or covered by Pinkvilla, it really validates the late-night rehearsals and the intense planning sessions we put in. The absolute highlight was choreographing the sangeet for Taapsee Pannu’s wedding in Udaipur. It taught me that whether it is a celebrity stage or a close-knit family function, the energy needs to be just as electric and authentic.
Getting recognized by the press is an incredible honor, but for me, it has always been about the stories behind the dances. Over the last decade, I have focused on turning wedding sangeet choreography into a full-blown performance art. It is not just about teaching steps. It is about capturing the couple's inside jokes, their journey, and their 'bhasad' (chaotic fun) during rehearsals, and putting that onto the stage.
My approach has always been grounded in the idea that anyone can dance if they are having fun. That is why media outlets often highlight our 'family-first' method. We take the time to work with everyone, from the grandparents to the groom's squad, ensuring that when the music starts, nobody is holding back. Whether we are planning a complex shadow act or a surprise flashmob, we design the performance to feel like a movie. Seeing our work featured in publications like Bollywood Hungama is a testament to the hard work my team pours into every event, but the real reward is seeing the groom, the bride, and their families finally let loose and enjoy their moment in the spotlight.
