About Guided Tours & Cultural Immersion
When you visit our Mandala Cultural Centre, the experience is designed to be immersive, not just a viewing. Our standard 90-minute heritage walk takes you through our puppet museum to see rare shadow and string artifacts, followed by a live demonstration where you can engage with our puppeteers to understand the mechanics and stories behind this traditional art form.
At the Mandala Cultural Centre, we view these tours as an opportunity to foster a genuine connection with our roots. The 90-minute session is structured to provide a comprehensive look at the evolution of Indian storytelling. We begin with a museum walk, where you will see rare artifacts from our collection, including shadow, string, and rod puppets.
This is followed by a live performance and a dedicated interaction session. Here, you can ask our artists about the dedication, or 'kartavya nishta,' that goes into every movement. We encourage visitors to ask questions, handle the puppets, and understand the cultural philosophy behind the epics we perform.
Whether you are an educational institution looking for an interactive field trip or a corporate team seeking an offsite that is grounding and contemplative, our space offers an alternative to the typical busy venue. Please note that our group heritage walk requires a minimum of 25 participants to ensure a focused and impactful experience for everyone involved.
