When you book me for an event, you are not just getting a playlist. I focus on reading your specific crowd—whether it’s a corporate mixer or a sangeet—to blend the sound perfectly. I shift from smooth, cocktail-ready soundscapes during dinner to high-octane dancefloor anthems, ensuring the music builds naturally with the night.
My approach to live performance comes from years of running Bengaluru’s local socials, like 'Luru Diwali' and 'Luru Christmas.' I treat every set, whether it's an intimate corporate evening or a wild wedding sangeet, as a story I am telling through sound.
My Signature Sound
I specialize in what I call 'BollyTech' and 'IndoHouse.' This is the middle ground where I take the soul of Bollywood and Punjabi hits and fuse them with modern deep house and techno production. It is not just about playing the hits; it is about taking an 80s classic or a chart-topping desi track and refitting it with a bassline that actually makes people move.
Technical Requirements
For the best results, I work with high-quality audio equipment. I strictly require an industry-standard Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 or 3000 console and a DJM 900 mixer to handle the layering and complex transitions I use in my sets.
Customization
Every event is different, and I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. For wedding experiences, I sit down with you beforehand to finalize your 'Do-Not-Play' lists and create custom mashups for specific moments like bridal entries or first dances. My goal is to ensure the energy stays consistent from the first track to the last, keeping both the elders and the college gang on the dancefloor.
