About Solo Exhibitions & Gallery Shows
When you walk through my gallery shows, you will notice some pieces are created using a specialized oil-on-metal technique. Because these canvases have a rose gold mirror finish, your own reflection becomes a part of the painting. It shifts the experience from watching art to being inside it, creating that moment of svayam or self-discovery I always talk about.
My exhibitions are not just displays of finished products. They are built around a central theme, like my recent 'Fundamental Instincts' show, to tell a cohesive story. Whether it is a large-format oil painting or a three-dimensional sculpture, I focus on how these pieces interact with the venue space and with you.
Why attend a gallery show?
It is about seeing the texture, the scale, and how the light hits the metallic surfaces in person. A screen cannot capture the depth of the oils or the way the rose gold sheet interacts with the room's lighting. My exhibitions provide an immersive walk-through where I am often present to discuss the process, the inspiration, and the philosophy behind the brushstrokes.
What to expect at the show
- Conceptual Depth: Each collection, from 'Fundamental Instincts' to my earlier works, has a narrative. I do not just paint decor; I paint ideas about nature, the soul, and human behavior.
- Direct Interaction: I love when visitors come to the openings. You might spot things I missed or bring your own perspective to a piece, which is always the best part of the exhibition.
- Diverse Mediums: While oils are my primary medium, you will see a mix of canvas paintings and sculptures that explore form and texture.
If you have been curious about my work or want to see the 'Fundamental Instincts' series in person, keep an eye on my show schedule. I am always happy to walk visitors through the gallery and share the stories behind the canvas.
