Stepping into one of my exhibitions is about more than just looking at paintings. It is a space where my oil works, sculptures, and conceptual stories come together to start a conversation about our fundamental instincts.

The official announcement for the Samagam Art Fest 2024, where my recent artworks were displayed. These festivals are a celebration of creativity, bringing together many talented artists from all over India.

The poster for my 11th solo show, 'Fundamental Instincts'. Each solo exhibition is built around a central theme, and this one explored the deep, primal connections that drive us.

The opening day of 'Fundamental Instincts' began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony. It is a beautiful way to inaugurate the show and welcome all the art lovers and guests who come to support the work.

About Solo Exhibitions & Gallery Shows

When you walk through my gallery shows, you will notice some pieces are created using a specialized oil-on-metal technique. Because these canvases have a rose gold mirror finish, your own reflection becomes a part of the painting. It shifts the experience from watching art to being inside it, creating that moment of svayam or self-discovery I always talk about.

This piece, titled 'Fear', explores how we perceive threats through a screen of prejudice. The snake symbolizes a fear we've heard of but not experienced, while the plastic wrap represents our preconceived notions. One eye looks out clearly, ready to face that fear directly.7
Titled 'Ambivalent', this painting is a self portrait of my own internal duality. I am both the nurturer who builds a nest of comfort and the inner danger, the snake, that threatens to destroy it. It is a reflection on the protector and the destroyer within us all.
This custom portrait, 'Dewdrops', is an exercise in photorealism. My goal was to capture not just the child's likeness and innocent expression, but also the complex play of light and reflection in the water droplets on the glass, creating a sense of depth and emotion.
'Sapling' is about the nature of belief. The hand, cracked and stone-like, represents rigid ideas, while the young sapling breaking through symbolizes the pliable, ever-growing trust of life. It’s a visual metaphor for growth overcoming stagnation.

This large-scale 5 x 5.5 ft oil on canvas portrait of Mr. Amit Shah was an honor to create. I focused on capturing a sense of visionary leadership through a blend of realism and abstract color, a style I often bring to my commissioned portraits.8
This large Krishna painting is one of my favorites, created to be a magical centerpiece. I love working on expansive canvases, using vibrant blues and intricate details like the peacock feather to bring a sense of divine peace to a space.
For this statement floral piece, I focused on creating depth and light within the petals. It's an oil painting designed to be a dramatic and beautiful focal point in any room, showcasing my love for hyperrealistic detail.
Here I am with the finished painting of a quiet Venice canal. Capturing the reflection on the water and the texture of the old brick wall was a joy. I create custom landscape paintings that transport you to your favorite places.
