Architectural & Urban Drone Videography
From city skylines to the fine details of a structure, I use my drone to capture angles you cannot reach from the ground. I help architects, developers, and brands show their work in the best possible light, day or night.
This top-down aerial shot of the Forest Research Institute in Dehradun is a perfect example of architectural photography. The drone's perspective highlights the building's perfect symmetry and impressive scale.
A night drone shot of the ITC Royal Bengal in Kolkata. Using a long exposure, I captured the light trails from traffic on the flyover, contrasting the movement of the city with the static beauty of the architecture.
A different angle of the Kolkata cityscape at night. This aerial view shows the hotel in the context of its urban environment, including the nearby stadium and surrounding infrastructure.
About Architectural & Urban Videography
When shooting urban architecture, I usually look for the blue hour or golden hour to make glass facades and structures pop against city lights. If you have a specific commercial site in Delhi or anywhere else, I suggest checking your site access permissions early, as I need a clear flight path to get those clean, cinematic reveals that really show off the scale of your building.
My approach to architectural and urban videography is about finding the right gear for the shot. For stable, sweeping cinematic footage, I use the DJI Mavic 3. It gives me that high-resolution look that works perfectly for commercial portfolios or project showcases. When the scene needs more energy—like a fly-through of a lobby or weaving through a complex structural build—I switch to my FPV drone. This gets me into tight spaces and windows where standard drones simply cannot go.
Night photography is a major part of what I do. By using long-exposure techniques with my drone, I capture light trails from traffic to contrast the movement of the city with the static beauty of the architecture. This is how I get shots where the hotel or building looks alive against the night sky.
I handle these shoots solo, which means I am the one managing the battery swaps, the signal, and the creative vision on-site. Whether it is a heritage property that needs a respectful, slow-moving reveal or a modern commercial skyscraper that needs a high-speed, dynamic walkthrough, I am ready to travel. My job is to bring back footage that makes you say 'kya view dikha hai' every time you watch the edit.
