Custom Children's Furniture and Decor
Hand-crafted, non-toxic pieces made to spark your child's imagination. Let's build a space that is safe, playful, and uniquely theirs.
These custom-made cane and wood shelves are perfect for displaying your child's favorite books. The natural texture of the cane adds a beautiful, handcrafted element to the wall.
Add a pop of color and encourage reading with these vibrant, child-safe bookshelves. They are designed to hold books facing forward, making it easy for little ones to pick out their favorite stories.
I believe storage should be beautiful inside and out. This custom closet interior is organized with child-height hanging rods and drawers, all set against a cheerful gingham and lemon-print background.
This house-frame floor bed, inspired by Montessori principles, creates a magical and accessible sleeping space. It encourages independence while sparking the imagination with its simple, playful structure.
The right wallpaper can transform a room into a different world. This jungle theme, filled with playful monkeys and lush greenery, serves as a stunning backdrop for a simple wooden crib.
About Custom Furniture & Decor Details
When I plan custom furniture, I avoid standard laminates. Instead, I use solid wood or cane with non-toxic finishes, ensuring every edge is rounded and every drawer is soft-close. It’s about creating pieces that are sturdy enough to survive a toddler's energy and safe enough for a nursery.
I believe that furniture for little ones should be more than just functional. It needs to be an invitation to play and explore. My approach starts with safety, which is why I lean on solid teak, rattan, and marine plywood rather than mass-produced particle boards. We use lead-free, water-based finishes that are completely non-toxic.
Why Custom Matters
Every child is different. A floor-level house bed, for instance, encourages independence by letting your toddler get in and out on their own, which is a key part of the Montessori approach. I design storage at your child’s height so they can learn to organize their own books and toys, reducing clutter while building their confidence.
The Process
My team works directly with local craftsmen to bring these designs to life. Because we handle everything—from the initial sketches to the final installation—we can customize details like drawer handle shapes, fabric choices, or the exact layout of a wardrobe interior to fit your specific needs. If you want a bookshelf shaped like a house or a closet with lemon-print lining, we can make that happen.
Growing With Your Child
One of the biggest questions I get is about longevity. I design furniture that adapts. A crib might transform into a toddler bed, or a changing dresser can be repurposed as a study console as your child grows. It is all about investing in quality pieces that stay with your family for years, not just a few months.
