About Maharashtrian Festive Portraits
When you book these festive sessions, you do not need to hunt for costumes or props. My studio in Nehru Nagar is stocked with everything from halwyache dagine (sweet jewelry) for Sankranti to traditional sarees and accessories for Ganesh Chaturthi. You simply show up, get dressed, and we start shooting.
Cultural festivals like Makarsankranti are deep-rooted in our traditions, and I believe photos should reflect that same spirit. These sessions are not just about clicking a few frames, but about capturing the joy of the festival in a controlled, professional environment.
In my studio, I manage the lighting to ensure those rich colors of the traditional sarees and the intricate details of the handmade sugar jewelry really pop. We handle the posing guidance as well. If you feel awkward in front of the camera, I help you find the right angles so you look natural and confident.
