Cinematic Brand Storytelling in Mumbai
Brands aren't static objects; they are characters living in Mumbai’s chaos. I capture the raw, unfiltered moments where your brand's story meets the city’s rhythm.
Capturing the peak action at the Red Bull BC One Cypher. I use techniques like motion blur to convey the incredible speed and energy of the performers, making the viewer feel the electricity of the event.
For Red Bull's promotional content, we created a visual splash. This shot combines the energy of the dancers with the iconic Mumbai sea face, creating a dynamic image that is both artistic and commercial.
Event coverage is about capturing the atmosphere. Here, I framed the shot to show not just the performer but the massive, engaged crowd and the scale of the Red Bull BC One production.
The story of an event includes the fun, candid moments. This shot with the auto-rickshaw adds a uniquely Mumbai flavor to the Red Bull event, making it feel authentic and grounded in the city's culture.
The grand finale. My event photography focuses on capturing the celebratory climax, using lighting and composition to frame the winners in their moment of triumph at the Red Bull BC One Cypher.
This reel for Vivo and Croma shows my documentary-style approach to brand films. I follow the story through the city, from Dadar's flower market to Chor Bazaar, demonstrating the product's features in real-world scenarios.
A creative product shot for Yippee! Noodles at Marine Drive. This kind of forced-perspective photography makes the product the hero of the scene in a fun, engaging way that stands out on social media.
For Vivo, I used their phone's telephoto macro lens to explore a world of detail. This shot of a yellow gerbera highlights the incredible clarity and color reproduction, proving the device's professional-grade capabilities.
Another macro shot for the Vivo X100 Pro campaign, focusing on the texture of water droplets on petals. This demonstrates an eye for fine detail, perfect for brands that value precision and quality.
The vibrant red of this flower, captured for Vivo, showcases the camera's ability to handle rich, saturated colors without losing detail. It's a powerful image for demonstrating photographic quality.
About Brand Storytelling
I don't work with studio lights or stiff, staged briefs. Whether we’re shooting on high-end smartphones for quick, scroll-stopping reels or using Sony Alpha kits for full campaign films, my process starts on the street. Expect a 4-5 hour session if we’re going the smartphone route, or a full day for cinema-grade production. We find the narrative in the crowd, the market, or the marine drive sunset, not against a plain backdrop.
Your Brand, Found in the Chaos
Traditional advertising feels static because it is detached from the world. When I shoot for a brand, I don't look for a blank wall; I look for a context that adds meaning to your product. Your campaign shouldn't feel like a commercial break; it should feel like a moment in time.
How We Build Your Story
We skip the artificial staging. Instead, we use Mumbai as our set.
- Mobile-First Campaigns: Perfect for brands that need raw, high-frequency content. We use smartphones and gimbals to capture 9:16 reels that look like user-generated content, not a polished production. It’s authentic, fast, and builds trust.
- Cinematic Brand Films: For larger campaigns, I bring the Sony Alpha kit. This is where we create 60-second films with sound design, color grading, and a narrative arc. We treat the product as a character moving through the city—whether it’s capturing the energy of a music cypher or the quiet detail of a product at sunrise.
- The #BeAmateur Philosophy: It sounds contradictory, but staying "amateur" helps me stay curious. It means avoiding the standard agency look and finding the unique angle—a reflection in a puddle, the motion blur of a local train, or the specific light at Marine Drive.
Why Location Matters
Mumbai isn't just a background; it is a collaborator. A product shot at the Dadar flower market or during the monsoon rain tells a story of color, resilience, and life that a studio can never replicate. If you want your audience to stop scrolling and actually feel the vibe of your product, let’s get out on the streets.
