About Behind the Scenes
People often think hosting is just holding a mic, but it is actually about being the bridge between the DJ, the lighting team, and the family. I arrive two hours before every show specifically to test audio levels and walk through the run-of-show with the technical team. If the music does not drop at the exact moment the groom enters, that reflects on me, so I make sure every cue is perfect before you even see me on stage.
Hosting an event involves a silent choreography that happens before the first guest walks in. When you hire me, you are not just getting a voice; you are getting a partner who manages the timeline.
My prep process is designed to eliminate stress for you and your family:
- Tech Sync: I personally handle sound checks and coordinate directly with your DJ to ensure seamless transitions. Whether it is a high-energy Sangeet or a soulful reception, the rhythm must be perfect.
- Scripting & Flow: We hold two video consultations to finalize the run-of-show. We go over family introductions, the couple's love story narration, and all key call-outs so I know exactly what to say and when.
- Crisis Management: Live events are unpredictable. My job is to handle technical glitches or timeline delays behind the scenes so the audience never notices. You stay in the moment, and I keep the show moving.
Whether it is a luxury venue like Taj Lands End or a destination wedding, my focus remains the same: consistent, high-energy execution. Stage pe aag toh lagegi hi, but only because the planning was solid from the start.
