Flood Resilient Urban Planning for Bengaluru
Bengaluru's recurring floods are a complex challenge that I address with nature-based solutions. This collection shows my specific strategies for managing stormwater, from retrofitting existing drains to creating multi-functional landscapes that absorb and redirect excess water, helping the city become more resilient to extreme weather.
Sustainable Master Planning: Dhamma Anurakkhi Meditation Center
This project showcases my approach to large-scale, sustainable campus design. The 22.5-acre Vipassana Meditation Center was planned from the ground up with principles of passive cooling, water conservation, and phased development, creating a serene and self-sufficient environment.
Biophilic Workspaces: The Meeting Pods
I believe the modern workspace should be connected to nature. This project involved designing climate-resilient outdoor meeting pods that blend with their surroundings. The design uses green walls, natural ventilation, and flexible zoning to create spaces that are inspiring, comfortable, and sustainable.
Visionary Urban Concepts: Detroit Waterfront
This section features my conceptual work for a large-scale competition to redevelop the Detroit waterfront. The proposal, titled "The Crown Jewel of Detroit," aimed to create a dynamic, mixed-use development that honors the city's history while providing a bold vision for its future.
Our Design Philosophy & Process
