In celebration of PRIDE month, we are screening two powerful French films. Join us for 'Three Nights a Week' and 'The Divide', with English subtitles, open to all.

An invitation to a special screening of the animated classic 'Le Petit Nicolas'. Our Ciné-Club brings timeless French stories to the big screen for the whole community to enjoy.

For the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia, we are hosting a screening of the Manipuri film 'Oneness', followed by a panel discussion with the director and community leaders.

A recap of our event for IDAHOBIT. We hosted a film screening, a panel discussion on the power of communities, and a conversation with the movie's director, reaffirming our commitment to dialogue and diversity.

A closer look at our Pride Month screening of 'La Fracture' (The Divide). The film explores personal and political tensions in a Parisian hospital, reflecting our interest in cinema that sparks conversation.

About Ciné-Club & Special Screenings

Our screenings at the M.L. Bhartia Auditorium are more than just films. We curate a regular mix of contemporary dramas, animated classics, and documentaries, all provided with English subtitles so language is never a barrier. It is an open, informal space where we often host panel discussions with filmmakers or community leaders right after the credits roll, making it a place to meet people as much as watch movies.

Why Join Our Ciné-Club?

Located in the lush Lodi Estate, our auditorium serves as a cultural hub for film enthusiasts. Whether you are a student learning French or just someone looking for a different kind of weekend in Delhi, our Ciné-Club offers a front-row seat to Francophone culture.

The Experience

We don't just hit 'play.' We see cinema as a conversation. Many of our screenings—ranging from French new wave to social documentaries—are followed by discussions. Sometimes we invite the directors; other times, we explore themes of identity and society, as seen in our recent IDAHOBIT and Pride Month events. It is a space designed for dialogue, diversity, and human dignity.

What You Need to Know

  • Language: All films are screened with English subtitles. You don't need to be fluent in French to join us.
  • Venue: We screen exclusively at the M.L. Bhartia Auditorium within our Lodi Estate campus.
  • Access: Most screenings are free and open to everyone. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving a few minutes early to grab a spot.

Our doors are open to everyone, whether you are a regular member of our community or just dropping by for a film. It is a space where you can relax, learn something new, and connect with like-minded people over a shared love for the screen. Allons-y, come join us for the next show.
