For those who prefer a classical aesthetic, I focus on 'Shringar'—the detailed adornment. This style involves high-density painting where I individually render pearls, flower petals, and the specific texture of peacock feather barbs. I use metallic acrylics or gold foiling for crowns and jewelry, ensuring the piece catches light even in a dimly lit prayer room. These works are created in a specific devotional atmosphere to ensure the spiritual intent is maintained from the first stroke to the final varnish.

Modern Devotional Abstracts

If you have a modern interior, I offer a more fluid approach. Here, I use bold color blocks and abstract strokes to capture the mood and energy of Radha and Krishna rather than intricate realism. We can select a palette that complements your existing wall colors, whether you want the cooling blues of the Yamuna or the warm, vibrant ochres of the Govardhan forest.

The Process

Each commission is a partnership. Because I don't reproduce art in bulk, every piece is unique. For larger narrative scenes, I spend 18 to 25 days on labor, focusing on the background scenery and the interaction between figures. Throughout the process, I share updates at the sketching and base-coat stages so you stay involved in the evolution of the painting.
