About Our Process: A Look Behind the Scenes
Newborn photography is never a rushed job. We block out 3 to 4 hours for every session, prioritizing your baby's comfort and safety above all else. This window allows ample time for feeding, soothing, and gentle settling, ensuring your baby stays calm and happy while we work with our professional lighting and sanitized prop setups.
Our Approach to Safety and Comfort
When you book a session with us, you are not just hiring a photographer; you are trusting us with your newborn. Our process is designed around your baby's needs, not the clock. We operate as a two-person team—one photographer and one dedicated assistant—so that while one is focused on framing the shot, the other is entirely focused on the baby's safety and comfort.
The Studio Experience
We bring a professional studio setup directly to your home or host you at our Naagarabhaavi space. This includes:
- Professional Lighting: We use off-camera Godox flashes that are soft and gentle, never harsh or intrusive.
- Sanitized Props: All wraps, swaddles, headbands, and furs are sanitized before every session. We prefer natural, soft materials that are kind to sensitive newborn skin.
- The 'Pause' Button: If the baby needs a feed, a change, or just a cuddle, we pause. We believe the best shots happen when the baby is relaxed and peaceful, not when we force a pose.
Managing Expectations
We know that children can be unpredictable. Whether it is a newborn who needs extra time to sleep or a toddler who has a sudden 'Ayyayyo, yen madodu?' moment, we roll with it. We have the patience and the props to handle the hiccups, ensuring you walk away with memories you will love, rather than stress from a forced photoshoot.
