Festival of Handmade: Celebrate Community and Craft
Step into our world of collective creativity. Join us for a vibrant day out where you can meet real artisans, learn a traditional craft, and shop directly from the makers themselves.
We often partner with city-wide initiatives like BLR Hubba to bring craft to the people. This poster announces an event at Jayamahal Park, featuring our 'Craft 4 Kids' workshop alongside music, dance, and nature walks.
Artists from the Penciljam community sketching at our festival. We love it when different creative communities come together to share the space, draw inspiration, and document the vibrant atmosphere.
The final day of a festival is always bittersweet. This is a look at the bustling crowds, the delicious food, and the last chance to connect with artisans and take home a handmade treasure.
We often do live virtual tours of our bazaar, like this one stopping at a lac bangle stall. Here, the artisan explains his ancestral craft and demonstrates how he customizes bangles for customers on the spot.

This is the scale of our festivals. With 150 crafts, 50 food dishes, and 10 workshops, we always advise visitors to wear comfortable shoes. It's a huge celebration of all things handmade.
About Our Festival Vibe: Experience the Collectives
When you visit one of our collectives, bring comfortable shoes and your own tote bag. You will be walking through rows of master artisans sharing their craft, and it is very easy to lose track of time while chatting with a karigar about their family tradition or trying your hand at a quick pottery wheel session.
Our flagship events like The Monsoon Collective and The Spring Edit are where our mission truly comes to life. We do not just host a market; we create a gathering space for the city. From the NIFT campus in HSR to the green lawns of Jayamahal Park, we set up communal spaces where you can meet the people who make things with their hands—from lac bangle makers to Gond painters.
We started this simply to give rural artisans a place to sell their work, and that is still the pulse of every collective we hold. You aren't walking into a commercial exhibition. You are walking into a space where an artisan might be demonstrating how they weave, or a lac bangle maker is showing you how they carve intricate designs in real time. We believe that when you buy directly from a maker, you aren't just getting an object. You are connecting with a living tradition.
Our festivals are intentionally slow-paced. We want you to stay, eat some local food, participate in a workshop, and maybe even pick up a new skill like Mandala dotting or clay modeling. We keep the barriers low, the entry affordable, and the atmosphere grounded. It is a space for everyone—kids, beginners, and lifelong craft enthusiasts.
