Legal awareness is lacking, and I see it every day. Bohot log apne rights nahi jaante (many people don't know their rights) and suffer quietly. For me, law is not just rules - it's a fight for fairness. 'Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah' (Law protects those who protect it) is something I live by. If you want to stand up for yourself, I'll stand with you. Justice takes time, but giving up isn’t my style.

My Take on Family & Matrimonial Law

Family disputes get messy. I don’t sugarcoat, I go straight to the point. Filing your first complaint sets the tone for everything, so we get it right from the start. Sometimes, talking works, sometimes you need a strong fight. I never forget that kids often get stuck in the crossfire, so I handle child custody disputes in India with care.

Reality Check on Maintenance & DV

No set formula. Courts look at actual lifestyle, not just pay slips. Even unemployed folks have earning capacity. Maintenance can be denied if adultery or desertion is proven. Domestic violence isn’t only about maar-peet (physical fights) – it covers verbal, financial, and emotional abuse too. Mothers-in-law can also file DV cases.

I Don’t Support Misuse

I’ve seen laws misused. Men’s rights matter too. If you’re facing false cases, keep records, file counter-complaints, and track her financials. Fairness is for all.

If you’re NRI, there’s a whole different process – Indian courts must validate your foreign divorce. Not simple, but I guide you through.
