Empowering Youth: Interactive Legal Awareness Workshops
I transform complex legal topics like the POCSO Act and cyber safety into engaging sessions that equip students with the knowledge to protect themselves.
It was a privilege to be the guest speaker for a workshop on the POCSO Act at B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Law. Standing next to the event banner, I felt a deep sense of purpose in preparing these future legal professionals to handle sensitive child protection cases with empathy and expertise.
I believe in creating a safe learning environment for all students. This video shows highlights from my anti-teasing and anti-bullying campaign at Government College for Girls, where I discussed the legal provisions under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and empowered students to speak up against harassment.
A group photograph with the wonderful students and staff after a POCSO workshop at Mount Olympus School. These sessions are about creating a community of awareness, and seeing so many engaged young minds gives me hope for a safer future.
Addressing a full auditorium of NSS students at Government Girls College on the POSH Act. My focus was to make them understand the importance of workplace safety laws even before they begin their careers, fostering a proactive approach to preventing sexual harassment.
A powerful moment from my POCSO workshop at Mount Olympus School, where students and teachers took a collective pledge to protect children from abuse. This commitment is the first and most crucial step towards creating a shield of safety around every child.
The feedback from teachers after my POCSO workshop at Mount Olympus School was incredibly heartening. This video compiles their thoughts on how the session provided them with practical knowledge and preventive measures to better protect their students, both as educators and as parents.
Judging a moot court competition at The NorthCap University, where I am seated on the panel, observing the proceedings. It is in these moments, evaluating the arguments of aspiring lawyers, that I see the future of our legal system taking shape.
A student participant presents her case during the moot court competition at MDU Law College. As a judge, I focused on her command of the facts, her legal reasoning, and her ability to respond to questions, all key skills for a successful advocate.
Attending a seminar on the POCSO Act at B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Law. Listening to the discussions among students and faculty reinforces the importance of continuous dialogue on child protection laws within our academic institutions.
Posing with fellow legal professionals outside the B.S. Anangpuria Law School after a successful seminar on the POCSO Act. Collaborating with academic institutions is key to bridging the gap between legal theory and practical application.
About Empowering Youth: Legal Workshops for Schools & Colleges
I do not believe in boring, monotone lectures. My workshops are built on real-life case studies, direct questions, and an open floor where students can ask anything, even anonymously. I blend English and Hindi to ensure every student, from schools to colleges, understands their rights and the gravity of the laws protecting them.
Making Law Real
Laws like the POCSO Act, anti-bullying provisions, and cyber safety rules are often taught as dry academic text. That is why they fail to stick. When I walk into an auditorium, I bring the law to life through scenarios that students actually face—whether online or in person. My goal is to demystify these rules so they become practical tools for daily life rather than abstract concepts.
What We Cover
My sessions for schools focus on essentials like Good Touch Bad Touch, anti-bullying, and digital safety under the IT Act. For college students, I shift gears toward anti-ragging laws, constitutional rights, and workplace safety foundations like the POSH Act, helping them prepare for the transition into professional life.
A Safe Space to Learn
The most important part of my session is the interaction. I encourage open floors and anonymous Q&A because students often have doubts they are afraid to voice. We do not just talk about the law; we hold pledge ceremonies to stand up against harassment. My approach is simple: if you know your rights, you can stand up for them. Whether you represent an educational institution or a student group, let us connect to make legal literacy a part of your campus culture.
Neyha Chaudhary
I am Neyha, and my journey from a homemaker to an advocate has taught me that the biggest barrier to justice is the fear of the unknown. I conduct these workshops because I want students to know that the law is not meant to be scary; it is a shield. My sessions are about turning legal theory into the power to stay safe.
