Outdoor & Landscape Painting Classes
We take our brushes outdoors to catch the light and learn how to see, not just look. From Noida's parks to imagined scenery, join us to build your perspective skills.
We believe art is not confined to the studio. Here are our students enjoying an outdoor sketching and painting session at Lodhi Garden, capturing the beauty of nature and historical architecture firsthand.

About Outdoor & Landscape Painting
We do not just stay in the studio at our Sector 37 space. We regularly organize sessions like our visits to Lodhi Garden where you learn to handle real-world lighting and perspective on location. Whether you are working with watercolors or charcoal, the focus is on breaking down complex architecture or nature into simple shapes you can actually draw.
Why we head outdoors: Nature and cityscapes force you to make quick decisions. In the studio, you have time to obsess over details, but outside, the light changes and the wind blows. It teaches you to capture the essence of a scene rather than getting lost in every tiny line.
Techniques we focus on: We teach 'atmospheric perspective.' That means understanding why things look lighter or bluer in the distance compared to the foreground. You will learn to use washes, wet-on-wet techniques, and composition rules to give your paintings depth.
For students: Whether you are a teen prepping for a design entrance exam or an adult looking for a weekend hobby, landscape painting is essential. It sharpens your observation skills. If you struggle with perspective, we start with simple architectural studies—like drawing a temple gopuram or a clock tower—to help you understand how to place objects in a space before we move to more complex scenes.
Materials: We provide the still life props, but for outdoor sessions, keep your kit light. Carry a sketchbook, a set of portable paints, and a water brush. We keep the instruction simple: observe, simplify, sketch, and paint.
