About Landscapes We Love
We do not just stop for photos, we hike to these viewpoints as a group. When you travel with us to places like the Mullayanagiri peak or the riverside in Hampi, you are not just tagging along for the scenery. You are sharing the trek with a group that quickly turns into a family, swapping stories over chai while taking in these exact views.
Nature is not just background noise for us, it is the reason we started Adventure Buddha. We believe the best way to see South India is on foot, away from the typical tourist trails and crowded bus routes.
When we plan a trip to a location like Chikmagalur or Gokarna, we look for those specific angles that make a landscape feel personal. You might see a photo of a sunrise in Coorg in our gallery, but the reality is the early start, the fog, the damp boots, and the shared excitement of the group reaching the summit together.
We focus on these areas:
- The Western Ghats: This is our backyard. We frequent the coffee estates and shola forests because they change character with every season. In the monsoon, you get lush, intense greens. In the dry season, you get those sweeping, golden vistas.
- Historic Ruins: Places like Hampi offer a different kind of landscape. It is about the contrast between the dry, boulder-strewn terrain and the life along the Tungabhadra river.
- Coastal Vistas: Our beach trips are not just about the sand. We hike the coastal cliffs to get the perspective of the ocean meeting the land, which is a completely different experience than just sitting on the beach.
Our goal is to show you the side of Karnataka that you do not see from a car window. We handle the logistics, the permits, and the route planning so you can focus on the view and the people you are sharing it with.
