About Coastal Escapes & Beach Camping
When we camp by the beach, we are not talking about resorts with room service. You will be sleeping in comfortable dome tents pitched on the sand or in a quiet coastal homestay. The luxury here is the campfire under a clear sky and waking up to the ocean breeze, not hotel amenities.
We design these trips to be a break from the routine. Most people joining us are solo travelers looking for a quick getaway, and by the end of the trip, you will find yourself sharing breakfast with people you did not know on Friday.
What to expect on a coastal trek
Our coastal getaways are not just about sitting on the sand. We hike through coastal forests, trek from Belekan to Kudle, and visit hidden viewpoints in places like Honnavara. If we are in Varkala, we dive into the backwaters.
Logistics and planning
We handle the Tempo Traveller logistics from Bangalore, the forest permits, and the meals. You just bring your backpack and a pair of sturdy shoes for the coastal treks. Our focus is keeping the group small and the vibe chill. We are not doing rushed sightseeing. We want you to actually breathe, sit by the water, and enjoy the sunset without staring at a watch.
Food and stay
Meals are simple, local, and filling. Expect a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian buffet options. If you are a solo traveler, our dormitory-style homestays or tent setups are perfect for breaking the ice.
