About Weekend Social Getaways
Why We Do This
We know how easy it is to feel stuck in that usual work-eat-sleep loop. For us, the best reset is packing a bag and heading out with folks who love to laugh, explore, and make memories. We built Adventure Buddha around that idea - making strangers into friends, and weekends into stories.
What to Expect
- Our weekend social getaways are all about tribe energy. Not just sightseeing - it’s memories, good food, and new friends.
- Most trips kick off from Bangalore or Chennai on Friday night, back by Sunday or early Monday. Quick escape, no fuss.
- Everything’s sorted: round-trip travel (some buses legit have party lights), cozy homestays or tents by the beach, meals, and local trip leads.
- You just show up, vibe, and enjoy.
Where We Go
- We love the wild side of South India weekend escapes. Namma Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu - wherever the mood takes us.
- Mountains: Coorg safaris, Chikmagalur treks, tea gardens in Wayanad, misty toy trains in Ooty.
- Beaches: Bonfires in Gokarna, Pondicherry’s French lanes, cliffside sunsets in Varkala.
- Heritage: Hampi’s ruins, Gandikota’s canyon views.
Who Comes With Us
Solo travel community is our jam - most folks come alone and leave with a bunch of new WhatsApp contacts. We make sure everyone (especially women) feels safe and included. Got your own gang? Bring them along, more the merrier.
Come join us for the kind of weekend you’ll talk about for ages.

My Story
We’re Adventure Buddha, just a bunch of Bangalore folks who got fed up with boring weekends and routines. We wanted stories, not just chores. So we started planning trips that felt real—no flags, no tight schedules. You just show up, meet new people, and somehow, by Sunday, everyone’s family. For us, it’s about adventure with a dash of peace, like sipping chai on a misty Coorg hill. We love our Namma Karnataka and sharing its hidden gems.
My Work
Trips We Plan - Group road trips from Bangalore, weekend getaways, treks, and cultural tours—always with a chill, friendly vibe.
Our Crowd - If you’re a solo traveller or just want to meet cool folks, this is for you. Bring a backpack and an open mind.
Where We Go - Chikmagalur, Gokarna, Coorg, Hampi, Pondicherry, plus bigger adventures like Spiti and Meghalaya.
What Happens - One weekend’s a trek, next is a temple visit, maybe a local festival like Theyyam. Always something different.
