Kathak and Bharathanatyam Fusion
My sister Spurthi and I love to experiment with fusion. By blending the rhythmic footwork of Kathak with the expressive lines of Bharathanatyam, we create jugalbandi pieces that feel fresh. This style requires deep synchronization and a conversation between the dancers, which is something we focus on during every rehearsal at our studio in JP Nagar. We believe that when the foundation is strong, the fusion becomes powerful and authentic.
