Public & Community Wall Mural Art
We transform public spaces into visual stories that celebrate our local Tulunad culture. From railway stations to city flyovers, our murals are designed to be durable, vibrant, and deeply connected to the community.

About Art for the People: Public & Community Projects
Because these are public spaces, we use commercial-grade exterior emulsions rather than standard acrylics. A public mural needs to survive monsoons, heat, and city dust, so we focus on heavy-duty surface preparation—cleaning the wall and masking borders properly before a single drop of paint hits the surface. When we paint local stories like Yakshagana or Pili Vesha, we aren't just decorating a wall; we are creating a cultural landmark that people respect, which is the best protection against vandalism.
Our Approach to Public Art
Public art is not just about making a wall look good. It is about reclaiming space for the community. Whether we are collaborating with the Indian Railways to breathe life into a station or working with the Swaccha Mangaluru Foundation to clean up city corners, our goal is the same: to create work that makes people stop, stare, and connect.
Why Quality Matters
We see too much public art fade, peel, or get ruined within a year. That is why we refuse to cut corners on materials. We use high-grade exterior emulsions (Asian Paints Apex or Royale) and weather-proof aerosol sprays that are specifically formulated for external conditions. Our murals are washable and resistant to fading, ensuring your project stays vibrant for years.
The Process: From Idea to Mural
- Concept Development: We start by understanding the location and the story you want to tell. For a railway station, that might mean historical locomotives; for a community wall, it might mean the heritage of Tulunad.
- Site Assessment: We check for surface issues like dampness or cracks. While we focus on art, we advise on basic repairs needed before we start.
- Execution: We bring a team to execute the design, using a mix of hand-painting and stencil-based graffiti to ensure sharp lines and rich textures.
Professional Collaborations
We have partnered with public institutions across Karnataka. We understand the bureaucratic and logistical requirements of working in high-traffic, regulated environments like railway stations and government property. If you have a public or corporate space that needs character, we are ready to bring our paint and our passion to the project.
Aditattva Art
I'm Vicky Shetty, and my team at Aditattva Art believes that walls should tell stories. We take the vibrant culture of Tulunad—the Yakshagana faces, the tiger dancers, and the Kambala races—and paint them where everyone can see them. We are a local crew from Mangalore, and we treat every public project as a piece of our own home.
