Custom FRP Sculptures and Wall Murals
We design and fabricate durable, lightweight FRP sculptures and wall murals that bring custom textures and depth to any indoor or outdoor space.
This video highlights my process for creating a custom Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) wall mural for a gym in Mangalore. The process begins with detailed clay sculpting to define the muscular form. I then create a mold and cast the final piece in durable FRP, finishing it with high-quality paint for a powerful, dynamic look that complements the fitness environment.
About Custom FRP Sculptures & Murals
When you choose FRP for your mural or sculpture, you are getting more than just wall decor; you are getting a piece built for longevity. We start every project by hand-sculpting the master form to ensure the textures are crisp and the anatomy is correct before we ever create the mold. This manual process allows us to achieve fine details and complex shapes that flat painting or standard printing simply cannot replicate.
The FRP Fabrication Process
Our approach to sculpture and mural making is rooted in manual craftsmanship. We don't just stick things to a wall; we build structures. Whether you are looking for a high-energy mural for a commercial gym or a serene, lightweight sculpture for your home, the process remains consistent.
First, we create the form using clay or thermocol armature. This is where the artistry happens—capturing the movement, the expression, and the volume of the piece. Once the sculpture is perfected, we create a mold and cast it in high-grade Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP).
Why FRP?
- Durability: Unlike plaster or cement, FRP is impact-resistant and holds up well against minor knocks and everyday wear.
- Weight: It is lightweight, making it suitable for mounting on walls or ceilings where heavy materials aren't an option.
- Finish: We use automotive-grade PU (Polyurethane) paints. This gives us the freedom to create anything from raw stone textures to vibrant, high-gloss finishes that are UV-resistant and easy to wipe clean.
Customization for Your Space
Every project we take on in Namma Kudla is unique. We have worked with fitness centers to create muscular, dynamic wall reliefs and with homeowners to build abstract sculptures that serve as focal points. Because we handle the entire process—from design and mold making to installation—we can tailor the dimensions and weight to fit your specific wall or garden layout. If you have an idea for a custom piece, we can prototype it, cast it, and install it to ensure it integrates seamlessly with your space.
