About The Achievers x CYCA Partnership
We do not just exchange emails across the ocean. Our head coaches, including Prashant Bhoir and Ashok Kadam, are physically on the ground in Chicago, leading trials, running drills, and conducting video-based biomechanics reviews. Whether it is a U-11 or U-13 session, you get the exact same training philosophy we use at our Chembur grounds applied directly to the US youth circuit.
The Mumbai-Chicago Bridge
This is not a long-distance mentorship; it is a live training pipeline. We take the 'Mumbai Grind'—our specific approach to high-volume, high-intensity training—and transplant it into the American ecosystem.
Why This Partnership Works
Cricket in the US is evolving fast, but technical training often lags behind game-play. We bridge that gap by applying our specific teaching methodology:
- Standardized Coaching: Our coaches follow the same manual in Chicago that they do in Mumbai. From fixing a backlift to setting a field, the instructions are identical.
- Elite Selection & Trials: When we run trials for CYCA, we use the same evaluation criteria we use for our elite Mumbai squads. We look for raw talent, work ethic, and the ability to handle pressure.
- Cross-Pollination: We don't just coach; we host. Our Chicago players get exposed to Indian conditions, and our coaching staff brings the latest international perspectives back to our Mumbai academies.
The Practical Reality
If you train with us, expect the same 1-to-8 player-to-coach ratio. Expect to be pushed out of your comfort zone. We focus on the 'chhoti-chhoti' (small) things—stance, balance, and grip—because that is where the real game is won or lost. Our partnership ensures that whether you are in Chembur or Chicago, the standard of coaching remains uncompromising. We are building a global cricket family, and the work starts at the net.
