Abstract and Conceptual Art Commissions
Bold, narrative-driven art created for film sets and statement spaces, featuring heavy-body acrylics and expressive palette knife techniques.
An abstract work in acrylic on canvas, created for the movie "CHUP: Revenge of the Artist." The piece uses a restricted palette of red, grey, and white to create a sense of dynamic, almost violent, energy.
Another abstract painting commissioned for the film "CHUP." This piece uses splattered red paint on a white background to evoke a powerful and immediate emotional response.
This abstract painting, also for the film "CHUP," features a chaotic web of black and red lines. The work is purely expressive, focusing on movement and tension.
About Abstract & Conceptual Commissions
When I work on a large-scale abstract commission, the first step is a deep conversation about the space it will inhabit and the specific narrative you want to convey. Using heavy-body acrylics and palette knife techniques allows me to build texture that catches light, ensuring the piece commands attention in a commercial or home setting.
Creating abstract art is rarely just about color placement. For me, it is an exercise in visual research. Whether it is a piece for a film set, like my collaboration with R. Balki for the film CHUP, or a standalone statement work for a corporate office, I focus on the tension, movement, and emotional weight of the composition.
For large-format commissions, usually ranging from 3ft to 5ft, I use heavy-duty linen or canvas. The process involves an initial ideation session where we define the core theme, followed by two rounds of minor adjustments. Because these works rely on expressive gestures, such as splatter techniques or impasto knife strokes, the painting itself is a physical process that requires time to dry and layer properly.
Every piece is unique and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. For delivery, I ensure safety by rolling the canvas in a heavy-duty PVC pipe, which is standard for transporting large-scale art across India without damage. If you have a specific space, a film project, or a narrative that needs a visual form, I am ready to translate that into a physical, textured reality.
Common themes in my work include:
- Emotional tension through color and line
- Narrative-driven abstract compositions
- Texture-focused impasto and splatter work

I am Abhijeet. I do not just paint for a canvas; I paint to capture a feeling or a story that words cannot hold. My process is deeply observational and I thrive on collaborating with clients who want their space or project to speak with the same intensity.
