About Behind the Gavel: My Life and Mission
My office at Raheja Centre, Nariman Point is the hub where the real strategy is formed. Before we ever set foot in a courtroom, my team and I spend hours reviewing FIRs and charge sheets to build a solid factual foundation. If you book a consultation, know that I will give you a blunt, honest assessment of your case's winnability, because you deserve the truth, not false hope.
Justice is not a concept found in books; it is earned in the corridors of the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court. My life has been defined by a constant 'rann samar' (battle) against systemic apathy. Whether I am filing a Public Interest Litigation to enforce fire safety norms or navigating the complexities of a criminal case, my approach remains the same: ground-level facts and unwavering tenacity.
Mentorship and the Next Generation
I believe the law is only as strong as the people who uphold it. That is why I invest time in mentoring students at institutions like BITS Law School. By sharing my experiences—from the 'taarikh pe taarikh' reality to the satisfaction of winning a case—I aim to spark the same passion for social reform in the next generation of lawyers. The legal fraternity is a community, and we must support each other in this shared pursuit.
The Reality of Practice
Every case I take on is a commitment. From dealing with the misuse of the POCSO Act to fighting for the rights of women in domestic violence cases, I focus on statutory rigor and police accountability. I don't sugarcoat the process. If a case has hurdles, I tell you immediately. My goal is to ensure you are fully informed about your legal standing before we proceed with drafting notices or court representation.
My Philosophy
I started my career as a civil servant and saw the system from the inside. That experience is why I do what I do today. I use the law as a tool for social change because silence is an accomplice to injustice. If you are looking for an advocate who understands both the cold hard statutes and the warm reality of human struggle, we should speak.
