Bathroom and Powder Room Design in Bengaluru

We approach the smallest rooms as the most significant, designing bathrooms and powder rooms that offer a quiet, restorative retreat from the pace of city life.

Instead of the usual mirror above the basin, we opted for a bold piece of art to bring character to the space. A large, grid-style mirror was strategically placed on the adjacent wall to open up the room and reflect light, creating the illusion of a much larger, airier bathroom.

A close-up of the art and wall sconce, showing how the reflection in the large mirror creates layers and depth. This simple shift in layout transforms the entire feel of the space.

A wider view of the powder room, showcasing the balance between the dark stone basin, the light wood chest of drawers, and the textured concrete-finish walls.

A detail shot of the raw, hand-carved stone basin, which adds a rustic and organic element to the otherwise sleek and modern bathroom design.

This bathroom features a bold, traditional Indian motif wallpaper in a soft blush tone, creating a statement wall. This is balanced with a simple white vanity and a playful striped stool, mixing patterns with confidence.

Soft textures, sculpted details, and a calming neutral palette define this bathroom. The fluted cabinetry adds a layer of depth, while the interplay of matte and polished surfaces creates a lovely balance.

This powder room is all about understated elegance. A textured grey wall adds depth, while the warm wooden mirror and carved vanity bring a touch of luxury. The sleek black fixtures keep it modern.

About this collection

In compact powder rooms, we often move the mirror away from the wall above the basin. By placing a striking piece of art above the vanity and situating the mirror on an adjacent surface, we create a surprising focal point that adds personality while visually expanding the room proportions.

Designing a bathroom or powder room involves more than selecting durable tiles and fixtures. It requires an understanding of how to manage intimacy and light in a small footprint. We focus on materiality, using raw stone basins or fluted wood cabinetry to bring warmth into areas that often feel sterile.

For projects in Bengaluru, we often encounter constraints of space and natural light. Our solution is to use reflective surfaces—not just mirrors, but also high-gloss finishes or strategic glass placements—to ensure the room feels airy. We replace standard storage units with custom solutions and integrate lighting that casts a soft, diffused glow rather than harsh overhead illumination.

Material choices are paramount. We gravitate toward natural stone for basins and counters, paired with vintage or hand-crafted hardware. This combination creates a sense of timelessness. We also incorporate wallpaper or wall finishes that withstand humidity, adding a layer of depth that improves the space beyond simple utility. Whether we are renovating a master bath or styling a guest powder room, the goal remains the same: to create a private sanctuary that feels consistent with the rest of your home.
