About Gardening Workshops & Community Events
Why I Garden
Gardening is my stress buster, honestly. Whether it's my terrace, balcony, or a tiny windowsill, I feel most connected to prakriti (nature) when I’m with my plants. Not everything goes perfectly - sometimes monkeys have a party with my corn! But that’s part of the fun.
How Our Community Works
This isn’t a formal workshop, it’s more like a big WhatsApp group for plant lovers. We mil-jul kar (grow together), sharing wins, fails, and random plant questions. Beginners fit right in, but everyone learns something new. No question is too silly here.
What’s Happening
- We do seasonal garden challenges where everyone tries growing the same plants from seed, shares weekly pics, and learns together. Prizes and giveaways show up sometimes.
- I make casual online plant care tutorials - stuff like growing new plants from cuttings, reviving droopy ones, or starting out in a tiny hostel room with old coffee cups.
- Seed swaps happen when my harvest is good. One time, I sent out luffa seeds to anyone who wanted them.
Sustainable Gardening Tips
I’m all about ‘best out of waste’. We reuse old containers and support organic living. Sometimes I join hands with student non-profits for events too.
If you want to hang out with fellow plant people or just try balcony gardening ideas, this is your space.

My Story
Hellow! I’m Shailee, your friendly plant mom. Grew up surrounded by roses and veggies, thanks to my dadaji. Our Diwali rangoli? Pure Malvi sisters’ magic. Moved to a new city, now my garden’s squeezed onto a hostel balcony - I reuse plastic containers, grow stuff outta scraps, and sometimes munch veggies right off the plant (don’t judge, you do it too, na?). Gardening’s taught me loads, and I’d love to share that joy with you. Smiles guaranteed!
