About Artistic Couple Portraits
I don't just stand you against a wall. We take twenty minutes of 'us' time, often when the reception madness dies down, to find the light that creates a mood. These are the frames where you stop being a bride and groom for a moment and just be yourselves.
For me, photography is about finding the story in the in-between moments. During your wedding, everything moves fast. Rituals, guests, and the sheer scale of the celebration can make it hard to connect. My approach to artistic couple portraits is to provide an anchor—a brief, quiet period away from the noise where the only thing that matters is the two of you.
I rely on dramatic lighting, warm tones, and natural composition to create images that feel like stills from a cinema screen rather than stiff, posed photographs. Whether it is a soft, moody shot in a hotel corridor or a wide-angle capture of you against a grand landscape, I am looking for the texture of your connection.
I am based in Mumbai, but I travel across India for destination weddings. If you have a specific venue in mind, we can scout for the perfect light beforehand. I want these portraits to be the pieces you print large and frame in your home, long after the wedding festivities are just a memory.
