Black & White Wedding Photography
Stripping away the color to reveal the raw, unedited emotion of your wedding day through high-contrast, cinematic photography.
A classic black and white portrait that feels like a still from a vintage film, full of elegance and emotion.
A minimalist black and white portrait, where the focus is entirely on the bride's serene smile and the beautiful play of light on her face.
A creative use of shadow play, creating a silhouette of the couple dancing. This is storytelling through light and its absence.
A soft and ethereal black and white portrait of a bride under her veil, capturing a moment of quiet grace.
A classic black and white bridal portrait, her expression poised and elegant, showcasing her traditional Maharashtrian jewelry.
A motion-blurred black and white shot of a couple walking at night, capturing the energy and romance of a city evening.
A candid moment of laughter between a couple during a nighttime city shoot, captured in timeless black and white.
A stylish, high-contrast black and white portrait of a couple against architectural columns, creating a dramatic, editorial feel.
A wide shot of a couple on a deserted city street at night, the single streetlight creating a cinematic and lonely mood.
A blurry, candid black and white shot that perfectly captures the feeling of a happy, fleeting moment.
About Black & White Journal
I treat black and white photography as a deliberate choice, not just a post-processing filter. Before I take a shot for this gallery, I am actively looking for how light sculpts your profile or how shadow can hide the background clutter of a busy venue, allowing me to focus entirely on the connection between you two.
When you remove color, you are left with the essence of the moment. My black and white work focuses on high-contrast, dramatic imagery that captures the quiet grace of a bride or the raw energy of a couple walking through the city at night. This style works best for pre-wedding portraits and intimate couple sessions where I can control the environment and play with architectural shapes.
Whether we are using the grand columns of a heritage building in Mumbai or finding a sliver of light in a dark room, my goal is to create images that feel like stills from a classic film. These photos do not age, and they carry a weight that color sometimes hides. I find that this style strips away the noise, making the emotions you share on your wedding day the only thing that matters in the frame.
