Whether you need a replica of a building or a floating centerpiece, our engineering approach means the cake stays exactly where it should be until it is time to cut it.
Why Structural Cakes Need a Different Approach
A grand cake is more than just ingredients; it is a build project. When you order a multi-tier or anti-gravity design, we don't just bake; we draft. We calculate the center of gravity, install hidden dowels, and ensure the sponge density is firm enough to hold the weight of fondant and decor.
Our Process for Your Centerpiece
- Conceptualizing the Structure: You bring the vision, we assess the engineering. If it’s a hanging cake, we prepare the base stand. If it’s an architectural replica, we map out the dimensions.
- Flavor Engineering: Not every sponge works for a 5-tier tower. We guide you toward our firmer, denser recipes like our chocolate truffle or rich sponge bases that can handle the vertical load without compressing.
- Logistics & Delivery: These cakes cannot simply be put in a box. For large, multi-tier structures, we manage the assembly and delivery ourselves within Navi Mumbai to make sure the structural integrity remains intact from our Koparkhairane kitchen to your venue.
What We Need from You
To make these designs work, please reach out at least 4 to 5 days in advance. Complex cakes involve planning, stand preparation, and multiple baking stages. If you are worried about whether your venue can support a hanging setup, just let us know. We can coordinate with your decorator or venue manager to make sure everything fits perfectly.
