byAlizaDelivers across Mumbai Metropolitan AreaView full gallery

Sometimes, less really is more. Whether it's a delicate vine or a single, striking motif, these minimal designs are perfect for when you want subtle beauty that stands out.

The beauty of minimalism. This design features a central motif surrounded by a delicate vine pattern, proving that simple can be stunning.

A beautiful and popular design for guests and bridesmaids. The peacock on the back of the hand is a classic choice that always looks graceful.

How cute is this. A simple and elegant design for a young client, proving that henna is for everyone to enjoy.

About this collection

A lot of people worry that simpler designs won't show up well, but that's exactly why I insist on using my own homemade organic henna cones. Because there are fewer, finer lines, the quality of the stain matters even more. My paste is mixed fresh with essential oils, ensuring that even the most delicate patterns leave a rich, deep colour that lasts.

Why Go Minimalist?

Minimalist mehendi isn't just about speed; it's about making a clean, modern statement. I love these designs for guests at weddings, intimate family functions, or even just for festivals where you want to look festive without the commitment of heavy, full-hand coverage.

The Importance of the Stain

When you choose a lighter, more spaced-out design, the darkness of the stain becomes the hero. With heavy bridal work, the density of the pattern hides minor imperfections. With minimalist art, you need a high-quality, potent henna mix.

That is why I hand-mix every batch of my organic henna myself. I use high-quality Rajasthani henna powder and specific essential oils like clove and eucalyptus. Because my cones are free of chemicals and shortcuts, you get that deep, maroon stain that typically takes 24 to 48 hours to fully develop.

My Approach to Design

Whether you want a classic peacock motif on the back of your hand or clean, geometric lines on your fingers, we can work together to pick something that matches your outfit. These designs are:

  • Light and Comfortable: Perfect if you aren't used to wearing mehendi for long hours.
  • Versatile: They pair just as well with a casual kurta as they do with a cocktail dress.
  • Personalised: Even with minimal art, I can incorporate elements that feel like 'you', whether it's a small floral detail or a modern mandala.
