About Additional Media
Notice the clean finish around the screens and speakers? That’s not just aesthetic. We prioritize 6-inch deep, 4-layer acoustic treatment behind the fabric panels. It’s the difference between hearing a muddy boom and experiencing clear, sharp audio that stays inside the room.
The Technical Foundation
Every image you see here is a result of a specific plan. We don't just hang screens and place speakers. In our 7.1.2 and 5.1.2 configurations, we ensure the hardware—whether it is an Optoma 4K projector or Pioneer receivers—is calibrated for the exact dimensions of the room. This avoids the common issue of sound reflecting off hard surfaces and ruining the immersion.
Designing for the Space
Whether we are working in a dedicated basement room or a smaller 200 sq. ft. media area, the goal remains the same: a controlled environment. We use motorized masking and custom-built recliners to ensure that the viewing angle is optimal from every seat. Lighting is integrated into the automation logic, so that one command dims the lights, activates the projector, and lowers the blackout blinds.
Why Acoustic Treatment Matters
Many clients ask why we insist on acoustic panelling. It is simple science. Without it, you are listening to your movies with an echo. By installing 4-layer panels with a 6-inch depth, we absorb unwanted frequencies, allowing the Dolby Atmos setup to deliver the intended soundstage. If you look closely at the walls in our project gallery, that texture is the functional layer that makes the audio feel like it is moving around you, rather than just coming from the front.
We document these projects because we want you to see that a luxury cinema is not just about the equipment; it is about how the room is built to handle it.
