The final step of any manicure or extension service is just as important as the first. Here, I am applying nourishing cuticle oil to hydrate the skin around the nails, keeping them healthy and making your new set look even better.
About How I Create Your Nail Extensions
The secret to extensions that last is the prep work. Before we apply any product, we use an E-file for dry cuticle cleaning and buffing the nail plate to ensure a perfect bond. This step removes oils and lift-prone tissue so your set doesn't pop off within days.
Our Approach to Nail Extensions
Many people think extensions are just about the length. At Zulf Studio, we treat them as a structural upgrade for your hands. We offer two distinct paths depending on your needs.
Express vs. Sculpted
- Express Extensions: We use pre-shaped plastic tips applied with nail glue, followed by a thin gel overlay. This is perfect if you are in a rush and need a quick, reliable look for an upcoming event. It takes about 45 to 60 minutes and typically lasts up to two weeks.
- Sculpted Extensions: This is our premium structural service. We use paper forms to build the nail from scratch using builder gel or acrylic. This allows us to create a proper Apex and C-curve, which adds strength and durability. These are made to last 3 to 4 weeks.
Precision in Design
We don't rush the art. Whether you choose a classic French manicure, bold ombre designs, or intricate hand-painted line work, we use specialized brushes for every detail. If you have an inspiration photo from Instagram or Pinterest, feel free to show us. We will try our best to match your vision while ensuring the shape suits your natural nail bed.
Health Comes First
Nails should feel good, not just look good. We finish every set by applying nourishing cuticle oil to hydrate the skin around your fingers. If you come back to us for refills or removal, we use E-file debulking followed by a gentle soak-off, ensuring we don't damage your natural nails in the process.
