This is Ramzu Bhai and his son Ahmed, potters from the Kumbhar community in Kutch. I worked with them to create custom handmade terracotta tiles for a project, interpreting their generational craft for a contemporary architectural application.11
The workshop of Ramzu Bhai, where clay is transformed into art. These half-fired white terracotta tiles, drying in the courtyard, are part of a collaborative process that connects my designs directly with the rich craft traditions of India.
The process of creating a Thikri panel begins with a design and pieces of hand-cut curvature glass. This 400-year-old art form from Rajasthan involves meticulously arranging these glass pieces to create intricate patterns that reflect light beautifully.
Here you can see the Thikri panel taking shape. Each piece of glass is carefully placed by the artisan, slowly building the floral motif. It is a testament to the patience and skill passed down through generations.

This bedroom is a perfect example of how a single feature wall can define an entire space. We crafted this floor-to-ceiling headboard using panels of black fabric and leatherite, detailed with precise gold metal inlays to create a sense of modern luxury and warmth.8
We believe storage should be a statement. For this 'Arto' wardrobe, we used leather fluted paneling with inlaid metal accents to turn a functional piece into a striking design element, enhancing the texture and feel of the surface.
This piece showcases the soul of our craft. The parrot is brought to life with intricate, multi-colored beadwork and hand-stitched embroidery on a fabric panel, demonstrating how we blend traditional techniques with contemporary art.

This reversible teakwood swing is one of our signature creations, a perfect blend of playful functionality and elegant design. Crafted with a solid wooden base, mauve textured upholstery, and finished with matt gold brass fixtures, it serves as a stunning centerpiece in any luxury living room.7
Meet the “Pellet Drum” dining table, a piece inspired by the form of Shiva’s damru. Its base features grooved spheres finished in dual-tone polyurethane, supporting a magnificent Patagonia marble top. Paired with our bent teakwood 'Svelte' chairs, this set makes every meal a statement.
I believe furniture should be art. This unique TV unit is a testament to that philosophy, combining geometric forms like circles, squares, and cylinders in solid teakwood and brass. It’s a functional sculpture that provides storage while being a conversation starter.
