"I can't even draw a stick man." We hear this all the time, and our answer is always: "Nobody taught you how." This video explains our core mission to teach drawing as a fundamental skill that everyone can and should learn.
Art is a powerful tool for developing creative thinking and problem-solving skills. This graphic explains how our classes help your child excel in these critical areas.
You do not need talent to join our classes, just a passion for learning. Our method is designed to be easily recreated, ensuring students build real, lasting skills.
Our art program is fun, creative, and well-structured. This combination ensures that students enjoy the process while systematically building their artistic abilities.
When a child can independently express what they see or imagine, it gives their confidence a huge boost. Our entire method is built around empowering this independent expression.
The secret to our technique is breaking any image down into easy, recognizable steps. This demystifies the drawing process and makes complex subjects approachable for everyone.
We build recall sessions into our curriculum, which enables learners to practice and internalize the steps so they can easily recreate the drawing on their own.
The skills we teach are not just for art class. Our drawing technique, which involves logic, sequencing, and problem-solving, can be applied to other subjects at school.
About Our Teaching Method Explained
In our classes, we focus on helping you create independently. Instead of teachers simply drawing for you or fixing your work, we guide you through the process, ensuring you finish each session with a complete masterpiece you made yourself. This step-by-step approach breaks down even complex subjects like still life or architecture into simple, logical stages that anyone can follow.
Art is often mistaken for an innate talent, but we treat it as a foundational skill. By applying a structured curriculum that mirrors the logical progression of subjects like mathematics, we remove the guesswork from drawing.
How Our Method Works
We break subjects down into manageable steps—much like learning to write alphabets precedes forming words. This sequencing helps students develop patience, focus, and spatial awareness. By teaching students how to measure proportions with their eyes and fingers rather than relying on tools, we build a deeper understanding of composition.
Formats for Every Learner
Whether you join us at our Worli studio or connect via our live online sessions, the core technique remains consistent:
- In-Person Classes: These provide a controlled environment with a 1:10 teacher-student ratio. We supply all artist-grade materials, so you don't need to bring a thing.
- Live Online Sessions: We use an overhead camera setup so you can follow every stroke in real-time, just as if you were sitting at the table with us. Access to recordings is available if you miss a session.
Beyond the Paper
This method builds confidence that carries over into other areas of school and life. When a child learns to see objects as shapes and lines, they stop fearing the blank page. Our curriculum is designed to engage both the left and right sides of the brain, making it a powerful tool for developing creative thinking and problem-solving skills, not just artistic ability.
Young Rembrandts
I started this program because I was tired of hearing that people can't even draw a stick figure. I have seen students walk in unsure, only to leave creating full-on masterpieces they are proud to show off. Seeing that 'aha!' moment when a student realizes they can draw is the best part of my day.
