Certified Tattoo Artists and Training Graduates
Meet the artists who have successfully completed our intensive training programs. From their first sketches to earning their professional certification, here is the talent shaping up at our studios.
Here is one of our recent graduates holding her course completion certificate. We celebrate every student who puts in the hard work to become a professional tattoo artist.
I am proud to present another certified artist from our Xtreme Tattoo training program. He is now equipped with the practical skills and knowledge needed to work in a professional studio.
About Our Certified Artists
Finishing our training isn't just about learning to shade or line. It means you have moved from synthetic practice skins to supervised work on human skin. This certification confirms you are ready to handle hygiene standards, client expectations, and the reality of a busy professional tattoo studio.
When I started Xtreme Tattoos, I realized many students were stuck in classrooms with zero real-world exposure. That is why our training happens inside the studio. My students don't just watch; they see the good, the tough, and the unexpected moments that happen during a real session.
The Path to Certification
We break our training into two clear paths:
- Beginner Tattoo Foundation: This 4 to 6-week program is for those who want to understand the basics. We focus on machine handling, stencil placement on curves, and strict hygiene protocols. You practice on synthetic skin to get the muscle memory right before you ever touch a client.
- Professional Tattoo Artist Diploma: This is the deep dive. Over 3 to 6 months, you move into an apprenticeship model. You learn advanced techniques like realism, portraits, and cover-ups. Most importantly, you get supervised hours on human skin. By the time you get your diploma, you have a portfolio, you understand how to price your work, and you know how to manage a client from consultation to aftercare.
Why the Studio Matters
Learning to tattoo is not just about drawing. It is about bloodborne pathogen safety, cross-contamination prevention, and understanding the chemistry of inks. We don't hide the administrative side either. If you want a career in this, you need to know how to market yourself and talk to clients. When you walk out of our studio with your certificate, you are not just an artist; you are a professional ready to run your own station.
