Campsite Life and Community at WTH MTB Adventures
The ride is only half the journey. Our base in Mukteshwar is where we unplug, swap stories by the bonfire, and recharge in rustic comfort.
After a full day of riding, the evening is for unwinding. Our campsite becomes a hub for conversation and community, with riders gathering around the fire to share their experiences from the trail.

About Campsite Life & Community
Our base in Mukteshwar is not a resort, it is a setup built by riders, for riders. You will be staying in rustic mud-and-bamboo cottages without city-style luxuries like AC, because the goal is to keep you connected to the outdoors. Nights here are defined by bonfire conversations, shared buffet meals, and swapping gear stories, not room service.
When we started building this space, we wanted to avoid the polished, hotel-style experience that feels disconnected from the ride. This is an active base camp located right where the trails begin. It is where you will find the bike wash station, the tools for chain breaks, and the team ready to discuss suspension geometry over tea.
Why our community base is different
- No-frills accommodation: We use mud-house cottages and bamboo huts to keep the vibe authentic. Expect clean, simple rooms designed for resting after six hours on the saddle.
- The Bonfire Culture: This is where the real learning happens. Whether it is Rakesh talking about line choices or a fellow rider sharing their experience at the Tour of Dragon, the evening sessions are as important as the morning drills.
- Shared Spaces: We eat together. The meals are locally sourced vegetarian buffets focused on high-carb recovery for the next day's grind.
Practical Details for your stay
If you are coming for a workshop or just to ride, keep in mind that this is a remote location. We have enough space for gear storage and a dedicated area for bike assembly and maintenance. You do not need to worry about being an expert to fit in here, as our workshops welcome everyone from first-timers to seasoned racers. Just bring your bike, your gear, and a willingness to get a little muddy.
