About Mountain Biking Tours & Expeditions
Why I Ride
For me, mountain biking isn’t just about the speed or the climb. It’s about pushing limits, exploring new places, and making memories with a crew that just gets it. Since 2014, I’ve been bringing people together to experience mountain biking the way it should be - raw, real, and full of stories.
Meet My Crew
You won’t just have any guide on these rides. You’ll be out there with national champs like Rakesh Rana in Kumaon, Anisha Gurung leading Himalayan bike expeditions, and Kevilebo Zhotso showing off North-East trails. Each of us brings our own style, but we all live for the rush of the trail.
Types of Adventures
- Big epics: Like the Manali-Leh or Savage Ladakh expeditions, where you’ll find out what you’re really made of. These are true multi-day mountain biking trips, not for the faint-hearted.
- Quick getaways: Kumaon hills or the 4 Lakes ride for those who just want a taste of adventure.
- International rides: Bhutan, Nepal, even Georgia if you want something way off the usual path.
- Offbeat cycling experiences: North-East India, where you get culture, food, and wild trails all mixed together.
The WTH Approach
I handle the boring stuff - stays, food, backup, and even the photos. You just show up and ride. There’s always a pro around if you need tips, plus a support vehicle if things go sideways. We welcome all levels, and if your group wants something special, I can make it happen.
The Real Deal
You might get tired. You’ll get muddy. Sometimes, the weather’s just not your friend. But I promise, you’ll have stories to tell and a few new riding buddies by the end.
Bas, ready ho jao ride ke liye (So, just get ready for the ride).

My Story
We kicked things off in 2014, just a bunch of mountain lovers hooked on cycling and the Himalayas. I’m Rakesh - Mukteshwar’s my playground. National, international races? Haan, kiye hain (yeah, done those), but teaching is my real jam. Kevi’s all about downhill and trail magic, Bhavna finds freedom on two wheels and wants more women riding. We’re a mixed crew - Nepal, Rajasthan, Nagaland, Uttarakhand - each with our own quirks. Mountain Cycling isn’t just a company, it’s a family, building a real biking community in India.
