We gather every Saturday to write, share stories, and trade ideas. From technical craft sessions to wild creative prompts, here is a glimpse into the workshops that define our community.

This is where it all begins, with a pen and a blank page. In our sessions, we explore foundational storytelling frameworks like the MICE quotient (Milieu, Idea, Character, Event) to help you structure your thoughts and build a compelling narrative from the ground up.

Writing is often about channeling the big, messy, and uncontrollable feelings we all have. This session was dedicated to exploring raw emotion in fiction, helping our writers translate powerful feelings into words and create stories that truly resonate with readers.

We have a few simple rules, and this one, borrowed from 'Fight Club', is our favorite. It’s our playful way of saying this is a unique, close-knit community where you can feel safe to experiment and share your work without pressure.

What drives a story forward, the events or the people in them? We love debating the big questions of writing craft, like the dynamic between plot and character. This session helped writers find the right balance for their own stories.

Feeling like your writing isn't good enough? We've all been there. This session was all about embracing the messy first draft and giving yourself permission to just write, even if it sucks. It's a core part of our "no stress" philosophy.

Why do we love characters like Michael Scott or George Costanza? This workshop on "Rooting for the Unlikeable" used examples from popular TV shows to explore how to create complex, flawed, yet compelling anti-heroes that readers can't help but cheer for.

How do you keep a reader on the edge of their seat? This session focused on the art of creating mystery and suspense. We explored techniques for building tension, dropping clues, and crafting thrilling page-turners.

This vibrant poster represents our session on writing authentic, culturally rich characters. We explored how to infuse stories with unique Indian voices, settings, and perspectives, moving beyond stereotypes to create dialogue and characters that feel real and lived-in.

About Featured

You don't need a fancy portfolio to write with us. We meet every Saturday for three hours at a breezy terrace near Trinity Metro, starting with a 40-minute writing prompt hosted by a community member. After the quiet writing time, we open the floor for anyone who wants to read their piece and get honest, supportive feedback from fellow writers over a cup of chai.
