About Our Signature Baskets, Boxes & Trunks
I always tell my clients to think of the box as the outfit for your gift. For a heavy bridal lehenga, my velvet-lined trunks offer the protection and royal look it deserves, while my rattan baskets are better suited for lighter festive treats or fruit arrangements. Before you pick your container, consider what you are putting inside, as the weight and shape matter as much as the look.
Choosing the right container is the first step in creating a gift that feels special. Whether it is for a wedding trousseau, a festive hamper, or a baby announcement, the base needs to be both sturdy and beautiful.
My Container Styles
- Rattan & Wicker Baskets: These are my go-to for a clean, natural look. They are incredibly versatile, perfect for fruit hampers, wine gifts, or even as home storage after the event. They give a rustic, earthy vibe that works well for intimate gatherings.
- Bridal Trunks & Boxes: For your precious wedding outfits, I use velvet-lined trunks with sturdy metal clasps. These are designed not just for display, but for protection. I also offer acrylic boxes that add a modern, transparent touch, which is great for presenting jewellery or expensive vanity kits.
- Shagna de Thal & Platters: These are special, meant for rituals. I use mirrors, pearls, and gota patti to decorate these bases, ensuring they look vibrant and traditional.
What to Keep in Mind
When you come to my studio in Jahangirpuri to pick your base, think about the theme. If you have a colour scheme in mind, I can customize the floral bunches and fabric draping to match.
