Instead, I bring in professional magicians who turn the show into a conversation, often inviting kids on stage to participate in the act. Watching a child’s face light up when they help with a trick is the best part of my day.

For the active side of things, we stick to the classics. Musical chairs, limbo, tug-of-war, and freeze dance are staples for a reason as they work every time. I have seen parents get more competitive than the children during a game of limbo, which makes the event enjoyable for everyone. We keep the music audible, the energy high, and the space safe so everyone can jump, run, and scramble for seats without worry.
