Whether it is a Tuscan-style brunch or a lantern-lit dinner, my approach is to design the space around the flow of conversation. I pay close attention to table settings and lighting—using high-density floral arrangements, premium cutlery, and carefully placed centerpieces—because that is where your guests will actually spend their time.
When I design for adults, I look beyond the backdrop. Whether you are hosting a milestone 50th birthday, an engagement party, or an elegant festive dinner, the goal is to create a space that invites people to stay and talk.
For an outdoor lunch, this means using overhead canopy structures, wooden frames, or citrus-themed floral centerpieces to ground the space. For evening events, it is all about the lighting—lanterns, fairy lights, and candles—to shift the energy of the room.
I handle the finer points that tie a theme together:
- Tablescapes: I manage the layout, from the charger plates and heavy-weight cutlery to custom-printed menu cards and name place cards.
- Atmosphere: I use floral designs and ambient lighting to ensure the venue feels intimate, even in larger spaces.
