About Grand Mandaps & Ceremony Backdrops
A common mistake is choosing a mandap that fights with the venue instead of working with it. If you are at a place like Ramada Udaipur, the structure should frame the palace, not hide it. I focus on floral density and structural balance so that your ceremony photos look clean, whether you have 50 guests or 500.
Mandaps are more than just four pillars and flowers. They are where you exchange vows, and they need to hold up under the lens of a photographer. My approach is simple: I look at the light, the backdrop, and the flow of the ceremony.
If we are working on an open-air beach setting, we need structures that can handle the wind and lighting that works as the sun goes down. In a grand palace in Jaipur, we go for heavy, royal pillars that complement the architecture rather than clashing with it. I do not believe in copying Pinterest boards. We pick a theme that matches your vibe, be it boho, royal, or minimalist, and build the technical structure to support that vision.
For pricing, I keep it transparent. My mandap packages range from 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs per event, depending on the complexity of the fabrication and the density of the flowers. This includes the structure, the floral work, the aisle decor, and the lighting tech. I do not just dump flowers on a frame. We focus on the intelligent side of decor: how the light hits your face during the Varmala, where the photographer stands, and how the mandap looks from the back row. We manage the setup, the production team, and the post-event cleanup, so you do not have to worry about a single petal out of place. Whether it is an intimate ceremony or a large-scale setup, the goal is to make it look effortless, not overdone.
