About Family & Wedding Party Styling
What We Mean By Family Styling
An Indian wedding isn’t just about two people - it’s a full-on family affair. At The Wedding Wardrobe, we see styling as a way to capture the vibe of your whole tribe, not just stick everyone in matching outfits. We want your family’s wardrobe to look and feel personal, like a memory you’re all making together.
Parents Get Their Moment
We really love working with parents, especially because sometimes their own big day was pretty simple. This is their chance for a second innings, to shine in traditional sarees like Bandhani or Banarasi, or even something totally custom. Honestly, our first client was a father of the groom, and that set the tone for how we do things - family first.
The Whole Crew Counts
We style everyone who’s a part of your wedding party - parents, siblings, bridesmaids, groomsmen, cousins, and even the little ones. Whether it’s coordinated wedding party looks or something quirky, we try to blend tradition and personality.
How We Make It Happen
- We start with a chat, learning about your family’s story and what makes you all tick.
- Sometimes we go heirloom hunting, turning a mom’s old Gharchola saree into a new jacket for dad. Reviving family heirlooms for weddings is one of our favourite things to do.
- We help you find jewellery, shop for Kanjeevarams, and can be there on the day to make sure everyone looks sorted.
Here, There, Everywhere
Doesn’t matter if your family is in Mumbai, Melbourne, or somewhere in between. We do virtual styling, so you get personalized wedding wardrobe ideas no matter where you are.

My Story
Hey, we’re Nandini and Shivangi. Styling, for us, feels like a proper road trip—lots of laughter, a few wrong turns, but always good company. Shivangi once wore her mom’s sarees for her own wedding, and that’s the vibe we bring—sentimental, fun, a little old-school. We love those family shopping scenes, you know? Our first ever client was a groom’s dad. That’s the heart of it—everyone’s story, not just the bride’s.
My Work
What We Do - We style weddings for Indians and diaspora—think repurposed heirloom sarees, family trousseau curation, and DIY bridal styling workshops.
Context Over Trends - No Pinterest clones. We dig into your story, chat honestly, and help you find outfits that feel like you—not just what’s trending.
Heirloom Makeovers - We love giving your mom’s old silks or Banarasis a new life—modern, but rooted. Always slow-cooked with love.
It’s a Family Affair - We style for everyone—moms, dads, siblings. It’s not just about the bride. Shopping with us feels like home—loads of food, zero judgments.
